Natural, untreated gemstones are the prefered choice for all Emberwynter designs.

However, with advancement in technique and technology, humans have discovered over the course of hundreds of years that some gems respond favorably to certain treatments or enhancements. (Heating, oiling, irradiation, etc.) Treatments in Gemstones are generally acceptable so long as they are stable, durable and disclosed. These gemstones must also be appropriately priced considering the enhancement they’ve received.

Emberwynter supports the full disclosure of all treatments applied to all gemstones we use in our designs.

We strongly believe this is essential at every step of the gemstone’s journey; from mining & cutting, to the jeweler’s bench, and ultimately to you, the collector. For this reason, all gemstones used in our designs are sourced exclusively from industry trusted partners, fully accredited by AGTA, JBT, and other widely respected institutions, whereby we may trust that these disclosures are maintained, confidently and accurately.

All diamonds in Emberwynter designs are lab created & every stone 1/2 carat or larger will be accompanied by a laboratory certification.
